It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Rachel arrived on Friday and the fun began.

Christmas Eve

Rachel doing Madeline's nails.
Madeline still talks about how much she loves her pretty fingers. THANK YOU Rae!

Madeline and Spencer decorated their own trees for their rooms - Santa even left a little gift underneath

Christmas Morning

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We are always glad when Auntie Rachel comes to stay with us, she is always a pleasure to have around and its especially nice to have family with us during the holidays.

I wish I had a video of Madeline's reaction to the tree. She was shocked to see all the presents and couldn't believe all of this had happened over night. She ran right over and opened the first present she saw. (which happened to be for her) She continued a rabid present opening pace through out the morning. Which worked out well because we had early church:)
By far my favorite gift this year - Madeline's first hand made ornament. She made it and wrapped all by herself in preschool.

Christmas morning
Rae Rae gave Madeline a Peppa Pig puzzle that she loves so much she sleeps with it and is working on it right this second. Thanks Rae

One of the favorites

The kids got so many fun gifts this year. But this horse definitely turned into one of the favorites. It makes a gallop and whinny sound as it trots around.

We're turning into a family of snowmen

Who needs to cook when I have my own little chefs...

Spencer - not so happy with his Tinkerbell apron.

Over the River and Through the Woods

Saturday morning we woke up early, packed ourselves in the car and drove to the White Mountains in NH. Where we picked up our tickets and boarded the Santa Train. We had a great time listening to Christmas music, writing letters to Santa and drinking hot chocolate. We made sure to watch out the window for Santa and his reindeer along our ride. And then all of a sudden we saw him, waving to us with his elves. It was very exciting :)
Madeline and Spencer gave him their letters and got a little early Christmas present from him.
We had a great time and drove home very happy and very tired. :)

Thanksgiving in New York

After a long car ride we finally got to NY and checked into our Hotel. We were very excited to get this fun filled week started.

Spencer loved this little crib - good thing because it was our only option.

A night out

Debbie took Rachel and I to a play. We saw How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. I loved it. I must admit Im a big Harry Potter/ Daniel Radcliffe fan, so for me it was especially fun. Plus I seriously needed a night out. Thanks for watching the kiddies Brad and Jim!!

Ladies Lunch

The girls went out for brunch at Alice's Tea Cup. Its such a cute little place. This was my favorite time going because I had my little Madeline with me. She has been before, but this time she was old enough to appreciate how cute everything is. She was sprinkled with magic fairy dust and got to wear fairy wings while we ate. She loved having a real tea party with her Mommy, Grammy and Auntie Rae Rae.
