Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve - a quick picture after Santa came.

Brad and Rachel putting together Madeline's table and chairs

A little early for pictures... Madeline found her stocking outside her door. Right where Santa left it.

Sweater from Grammy.

Playing with her new computer - which she LOVES!

Madeline loves her new bakers outfit. She walks around saying  "What should we make?"

We had a wonderful Christmas complete with snow and Rachel as our special guest. It was so nice to be together as a family in our own house. I loved being able to include our family's traditions and start a few new ones of our own.

stockings... check.

After much ado I finished our stocking just in time for Santa.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I am so excited for Christmas this year. Its our first Christmas with just our little family in our first house. Madeline is excited about everything with the word Christmas in it, which naturally makes it even more fun for us. If all this wasn't enough we are getting ready for our new little arrival in Jan. It will be so fun to add a sweet little boy to our family.

Thank you Rae Rae

Rachel brought Maddie a little Happy Thanksgiving/ thinking of you outfit. I have to say it is one of the cutest outfits ever - and Maddie LOVES it. She wants to wear it everyday and always tells me its from Rae Rae.
Thank you again Rae.

Thanksgiving at home

We had Brads family out for our first Thanksgiving in our new house. It was nice to see them and meet Jason and Elise's little baby Hudson for the first time. Rachel came from NY to see us twice over the course of a week - because she is just that nice. Madeline loved all the attention and of course couldn't be happier with having a little baby in the house
(which was a relief to us - since there will be a permanent one arriving in a few weeks)
I just wish Rebecca and her little family could have been there with us. We really missed having them and I know Maddie would have loved playing with Ryan, Megan and Jared.

Grandpa taught Maddie how to hold a toothpick in her mouth.
Dinner in the city

Brad and I hosted Thanksgiving dinner with friends a few years ago but we didn't have quite this many people. I was nervous cooking for everyone but it worked out so well we ended up having two Thanksgivings - I think they both turned out lovely. I asked Elise to document the dinner - she did so beautifully. Thank you Elise

After dinner, we went for a walk with family and the neighbor girls.

And spent a little time in Boston

Pumpkin carving with our neighbors

We had our neighbors over last week for a night of pumpkin carving and pizza. We started out on the deck but quickly realized it was way to cold - so we moved the party inside.
