Madeline has been looking forward to soccer for weeks. Her big day finally arrived and she was not disappointed. She is the only girl in the class but I don't think she even noticed. They each got to pick out a ball to play with for the day and out of 50 soccer balls she picked the one with pink on it. There were a couple of times one of the boys tried to take her ball and I was a little worried... not for her, for the unsuspecting boy who dared take the only pink ball away :)
She learned lots of new things and couldn't wait to get home and practice.
Here she is with some of her class and Coach Matt.

Whole lota love
Our little Spencer is 8 months old and growing up so fast we can barely keep up. He has two little teeth and two more coming in. He loves to laugh with his big sister and crawls at lightning speed towards anything he shouldn't be playing with. He is so cuddly everyone fights over who gets to hold him and smother him in hugs and kisses.

Take it outside
A couple weeks ago we decided to have a little end of summer party in our yard. Brad set up a couple tv's out back so we could watch the Red Sox game while the kids played. We had a yummy bbq dinner and played lots of soccer (soccer is the new it game at our house) It was so much fun we are already planning the next one.

First day of school for our little lady
Madeline went to her first day of pre school and loved it. I on the other hand had a very hard time and held back my tears long enough to drive away... Luckily Brad and Spencer were there to smooth things over.
Madeline was chosen to be the special helper for the first two weeks. Her teachers told me how impressed they were with her and how polite she was. I must admit she is very polite, one of her many many attributes.
We are so proud of our little girl - have a great school year little one.

Chalk
This little lady loves to color and chalk is her #1 favorite thing to color with. Everyday I hear "can I play chalk mama?" Now she adds water to the chalk which makes it more like a marker - fun but messy.
Happy Birthday Brad
This post is so late. (Sorry Brad) We had a great time spending Brads birthday together. With a yummy dinner, cake, gifts and lots and lots of laughs.
