Best way to get over a broken heart......................
So its been almost two weeks, since the deciding game 7 loss of the ALCS. I gotta admit, the Rays did play a little better than the Sox did (granted I think we could all see the Sox were really only playing about 60%), but I was so dang upset I didn't take calls, respond to lame emails, posts, text messages from all the haters of the Sox out there (all from teams that either didn't make the playoffs or flopped earlier in the playoffs), so now I can get back to normal life, like going to bed before midnight (how lame was is it that both teams were in the eastern market, and we had to cadre to the west coast market by starting at 8pm and 830 almost every night?)
Anyways, to help me get on with life, a good friend of ours (lets call him 'Dougie') invited me to a Patriots game last Monday night. (Apparently Monday was his last day at work, and he took the company tickets, and parking pass I might add). I had never been before, and always wanted to, but couldn't ever get tix. Now that Brady is out, (not only with torn ligaments, but also a horrendous infection, which for some other reason people seem to be happy about) apparently they are a little easier to come by. Its also interesting to note that although he is out, 'the hoodie' still finds a way to keep us tied at the top of our division with the Bills who will surely buckel down the stretch. 50 yard line tickets about 20 rows up from the field are hard to complain about, and made me even temporarily forget about the good guys over at Fenway Park......after all pitchers/catchers report to spring training in about 3 1/2 months anyways.........
Go PATS!!!!!

Giggle Giggle
If you listen carefully - over the "beat boxing" you can hear Maddy laughing at daddy. Two peas in a pod.

NYC with RLH
This past weekend we went to NY to visit our favorite resident. We had a great time with Rach. She took us to this yummy lil Mexi Restaurant and then to return the favor we took her to the most amazing doughnut place. Its called Doughnut plant, I saw it on the food channel and knew it was my destiny to go. :)
Seriously people this place is amazing!! They use all natural ingredients so if you get a raspberry glaze you have a little treat covered in real raspberry's. My favorite was the Coconut Square Filled Doughnut. AMAZING!!!
Apple picking
Brad, Mad and I went apple picking a couple of weeks ago, it was so much fun. I think we should buy a lil house on an apple orchard. Seriously... :)
Now I have a zillion apples and no idea what to do with them - any ideas/recipes? For now I'm making applesauce for Maddie, I cant wait to see how it comes out.

Heelarious
The second I saw these I loved them!!! They are soft heels for babies. Obviously not for walking in, but perfect for crawling in. However after reading about them and the women who invented them, there seems to be a feminist backlash over the idea of these little shoes. What do you think? Hot or not?
These are my favorite!!

A blessing for Maddie and a little time with family
We took our first airplane trip as a family a couple weeks ago. I was a little worried about Maddie on the plane, but she did great!!!
By the time we got to Utah we were exhausted. Especially Maddie, poor Grandma Deb got a very sad face when she came to see us.
We had a great time in Deer Valley with my family - so relaxing!!!
-Mom, Dad and Erynlea
-Just an average day with the Olmsteads - Brad with my dad
Olmstead Family

On Sunday we got together with friends and family for Madeline's blessing. It was so nice to have everyone there in support of our little family, we really appreciate all the work that was done on our behalf to get everyone together. Brad did a great job and gave a beautiful blessing.

Hurray
My pictures are back! Now that I am somewhat rational again, I have to say that I know it wasn't Picasa that erased my pictures - it was this piece of crap computer. I will spare you an angry rant about it and just say I cant wait until I can get a new one. Anyway the pictures are back and that's all I care about.

Happy Birthday Brad
Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband. I am so lucky to be married to my best friend, who makes the world go away when I need it to, makes me laugh till my stomach hurts and most importantly is the man and father I need him to be. Thank you for all that you are and all that you can and will become. I love you.
Happy Birthday to my daddy - Thank you for hugs and kisses, lullaby's and stories, naps in your arms and most importantly loving me so very much.
I love you, Maddie

I Hate Picasa
I have loved using Google's Picasa for a while. Its nice to be able to crop, email, remove red eye and blog straight from their web page - however my love has come to a screeching halt! I went to upload my pictures from a recent trip to UT when I saw all my pictures from my wedding, cruise, holidays and most important every picture of our first baby - were gone, erased by Picasa. You can imagine my reaction to this news and if you cant I will tell you I went from happy as can be to hysterically bawling in less then a second. Brad is out of town AGAIN and I was completely lost for what to do to get my pictures back. After leaving him a voice mail full of tears, he called me back and calmed me down. Luckily I have a wonderful husband who said he would work on getting our pictures back. Keep your fingers crossed.

Madeline, Rachel and Olivia
Brad, Mad and I went to NY this weekend for work and to see some friends of ours. Madeline got together with her friends Rachel and Olivia. They are the twin girls of my friend Jess. We ate at my favorite pizza place - I seriously dream about the pizza there, the white pizza - Mmmmm. The girls had a great time and looked adorable. I loved seeing them together and spending a little time with Jess and her family. I just wish we could see each other more often.
