So its been almost two weeks, since the deciding game 7 loss of the ALCS. I gotta admit, the Rays did play a little better than the Sox did (granted I think we could all see the Sox were really only playing about 60%), but I was so dang upset I didn't take calls, respond to lame emails, posts, text messages from all the haters of the Sox out there (all from teams that either didn't make the playoffs or flopped earlier in the playoffs), so now I can get back to normal life, like going to bed before midnight (how lame was is it that both teams were in the eastern market, and we had to cadre to the west coast market by starting at 8pm and 830 almost every night?)
Anyways, to help me get on with life, a good friend of ours (lets call him 'Dougie') invited me to a Patriots game last Monday night. (Apparently Monday was his last day at work, and he took the company tickets, and parking pass I might add). I had never been before, and always wanted to, but couldn't ever get tix. Now that Brady is out, (not only with torn ligaments, but also a horrendous infection, which for some other reason people seem to be happy about) apparently they are a little easier to come by. Its also interesting to note that although he is out, 'the hoodie' still finds a way to keep us tied at the top of our division with the Bills who will surely buckel down the stretch. 50 yard line tickets about 20 rows up from the field are hard to complain about, and made me even temporarily forget about the good guys over at Fenway Park......after all pitchers/catchers report to spring training in about 3 1/2 months anyways.........

Giggle Giggle
If you listen carefully - over the "beat boxing" you can hear Maddy laughing at daddy. Two peas in a pod.
