I love this picture of Madeline. She sat so perfictly while we got her picture done. Even people on the street we comenting how cute she was.

Turkey Day

Rachel found a great place for us to have our Thanksgiving dinner. We even got our own private room. It was nice to be together and have a chance to say what we are thankful for. I love the time to slow down a little and reflect on all of our many blessings.

Later we made a day of checking out the Christmas windows and stopping into FAO Schwarz. Lots of toys, lots of people, not enough space. But we did get some cute pictures.

Madeline loved being at Rachel's apt. I think next time we come a sleep over is definitely on the agenda.

 

Breakfast with Santa

Debbie set us all up on a breakfast date with Santa at the Rock Center Cafe. Everything was decorated beautifully. We had a perfect view of the rink right out side our window. After breakfast, Santa and his elves came to each table for pictures and gifts. Afterward we took a little spin on the ice. Brad and I tried to help Madeline, but as you can see from the pictures she wasn't having as much fun as we had planned. Jim and Brad went out. (I stopped to console Madeline). They looked liked professionals out there, esp compared to Maddie and I.

Totally normal

I wish I could say this is an unusual sight after eating. However this is how he looks after every meal. I'd like to say, one day he will out grow it. But I just spilled down the front of my own shirt... oh well.

Why do you love to make a mess?

This squishy, adorable little boy, loves to make a mess. No matter where I set him down he crawls right into an optimal mess making situation and gets to work. It's a good thing he's so irresistibly sweet.

Black and white is best

I have always loved black and white pictures. Lately I find my self wanting to make every picture that way. Don't worry dad, I don't. But I want to.

Snow in October

This little snow storm Madeline is enjoying knocked out the power for over a week in two states. After playing in the snow for the afternoon. We hightailed it to a hotel. :)

Trick or treating in November

Because of our little snow storm Halloween was postponed a week... So we headed out for a fun night of trick or treating in November.

Madeline went to a Halloween party today and I have to say she was the cutest bee there. We cant wait for Halloween!! I hope it doesn't snow... Bees don't like the snow.
