Splash Pad

Madeline strutted her stuff in a new swim suit from her Auntie Rebecca. I think it was a little small, but that's what I love about it. So cute. She had a great time playing in the water. I'm so glad we found a fun new park to take her to. Cant wait to go back next weekend.

Magic Marker and a Bath

Madeline found her first permanent magic marker and put it to good use. Im sure she was thrilled when she found it, looked around and saw no one was there and then began rapidly coloring on any and all exposed skin, new clothes and innocent cup. Luckily she chose not to continue the fun on our carpet and furniture.

Rebecca has been giving Madeline boxes of clothes since she was tiny and Ive always wanted to document how much fun we have going through them. Just today Maddie went through 5 different outfits from Rebecca. She had such a great time trying them on and running around the house. I love the swimsuit at the end. So cute.

two for weeding

Maddie helped me in the yard for a day of weeding. By the end we were both hot, tired and filthy. Sadly it didn't look like we had done a thing, even after two very full trash bags of weeds. I wish it would just snow and cover it all up. That way I wouldn't have to deal with it till next year...

Make me a happy face, please.

Brad taught Maddie how to draw a happy face. She loves to draw them on her hands and ours.

Thanks for being our very first guest

We love having Rachel as a guest. She is so fun and doesn't mind laying around and doing nothing. Which is all we do here.

We bought a house

Home Sweet Home

We got to pick out the granite, cabinets, carpet and appliances. It was a little scary but lots of fun.

This is the granite place. You get to walk through these huge sheets of it and pick out the one you want.

                  I love this one!! It will have to wait for another day and probably another family.

Currently we are painting, and the house looks like this... not so great.
