It should be, but it isn't.
It should warm and sunny out. With tulips getting ready to pop out and wish us Happy Spring. But it isn't. Its cold, gray and foggy. And that's ok. I love days like this. Especially when I a have a good book, cozy fire and a little hot chocolate. My sweet babies are sleeping peacefully and that makes me the happiest of all.

"Flat Jolee"
" Flat Jolee" came to see us this last week. We loved having her here to play. Madeline made her a scarf to keep her warm and a little pink bow - because every girl needs a little pink in her life. Jolee played with Madeline and Spencer, made a snowman, and took a trip to DC.

Look Mommy, I can dress myself
Madeline felt very grown up in her frilly magenta shoes, striped sweats, Christmas top and a handful of her big girl Tinkerbell undies. She was ready for a night out - or at least a day at the park...

Build a Bear
Madeline went to a Birthday party at Build A Bear. We had never been there before but had a great time. Madeline was by far the youngest guest there. The birthday girls were turning 7 (twins) and Mad will be 3 in June. However you would have thought it was her Birthday. All the kids made sure Madeline got the best of everything. She even got pulled up to the front with the Birthday girls when we were singing happy Birthday. The crowd parted and everyone took turns holding her hand through the crowd until she was front and center. Once all three girls were in their place of honor we could proceed with our Happy birthday song.
Needless to say we had a great time. Spencer was the only boy to be invited - but he easily held his own with all those girls.

Its cold and windy but the snow is melting and Spring is on it's way. What better activity then giving Madelines new kite a test run.

Green with envy
Brads mom sent Madeline and Spencer a little St Patricks Day package. Don't they look cute.
