two for weeding

Maddie helped me in the yard for a day of weeding. By the end we were both hot, tired and filthy. Sadly it didn't look like we had done a thing, even after two very full trash bags of weeds. I wish it would just snow and cover it all up. That way I wouldn't have to deal with it till next year...

Brad taught Maddie how to draw a happy face. She loves to draw them on her hands and ours.

Thanks for being our very first guest

We love having Rachel as a guest. She is so fun and doesn't mind laying around and doing nothing. Which is all we do here.

We bought a house

Home Sweet Home

We got to pick out the granite, cabinets, carpet and appliances. It was a little scary but lots of fun.

This is the granite place. You get to walk through these huge sheets of it and pick out the one you want.

I love this one!! It will have to wait for another day and probably another family.

Currently we are painting, and the house looks like this... not so great.

Madeline LOVES shoes. She can spend all day trying on all my shoes and then she moves to Brad closet and wears his. The thing that cracks me up is she can actually walk in my high heals. Some times I can't even walk in those things.
